Pan Shot or Pan Milkshake(Betel leave drink)

I tasted this kind of drink first time in Mumbai in some restaurant where they served this at the end of the meal which i remember (almost a year ago).,there they served in a very tiny shot glasses which i have seen for vodka shots  I am a big big n big fan of "Meetha pan".n must say who love pan they will surely fall in love with drink.
Its quite refreshing in taste and i would say digestive too!!!

Recipe
This will yield approx 3 glasses of drink

INGREDIENTS 
  • 7-8 betel leaves/paan - gives approx ⅓ or ½ cup of puree
  • 4 cups chilled  milk + 1 cup chilled water
  • 1 tbsp rose syrup or rooh afza (optional)
  • 4-5 tbsp gulkand or as required
  • 1/2 tbsp of saunf
  • 1/2tbsp of pan chutney (in indian store u ll get this easily)
  • 2 to 3 tbsp of chopped dry fruits - almonds, pistachios, cashews, dry figs etc (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. rinse the betel leaves well in water.
  2. in a small blender, puree the betel leaves,gulkand,saunf and pan chutney with some water.
  3. in a bowl or jar, mix the betel leaves puree and  milk.
  4. stir well.
  5. stir in the rose syrup or rooh afza.
  6. add the chopped dry fruits.
  7. mix well and serve the paan shot/shake drink in medium size or shot glasses
  8. you also garnish this with mix pan masala like i did in this picture.
  9. you can also chill the drink and serve paan gulkand drink later.
  10. you can add little bit sugar also if you have less gulkand
