I tasted this kind of drink first time in Mumbai in some restaurant where they served this at the end of the meal which i remember (almost a year ago).,there they served in a very tiny shot glasses which i have seen for vodka shots I am a big big n big fan of "Meetha pan".n must say who love pan they will surely fall in love with drink.
Its quite refreshing in taste and i would say digestive too!!!

This will yield approx 3 glasses of drink
INGREDIENTS
- 7-8 betel leaves/paan - gives approx ⅓ or ½ cup of puree
- 4 cups chilled milk + 1 cup chilled water
- 1 tbsp rose syrup or rooh afza (optional)
- 4-5 tbsp gulkand or as required
- 1/2 tbsp of saunf
- 1/2tbsp of pan chutney (in indian store u ll get this easily)
- 2 to 3 tbsp of chopped dry fruits - almonds, pistachios, cashews, dry figs etc (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- rinse the betel leaves well in water.
- in a small blender, puree the betel leaves,gulkand,saunf and pan chutney with some water.
- in a bowl or jar, mix the betel leaves puree and milk.
- stir well.
- stir in the rose syrup or rooh afza.
- add the chopped dry fruits.
- mix well and serve the paan shot/shake drink in medium size or shot glasses
- you also garnish this with mix pan masala like i did in this picture.
- you can also chill the drink and serve paan gulkand drink later.
- you can add little bit sugar also if you have less gulkand
